Like my football pads, this idea is influenced by the Bartertown Guards in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. I
made it from a youth size set of pads so it will fit a woman nicely. The original chest piece didn't fit very well, so I
replaced it with a piece of rubber floor matting. I have armored/decorated the pads with various car parts, hood ornaments,
emblems, and reflectors. Prehaps the wearer of this armor took those pieces from defeated vehicles as trophies.
